Who is responsible
Ficar (getficar.com) is run by Manfred Zedazi ("I", "me"), the controller of your personal data. Contact: hello@getficar.com.
Using the website
- The days-left calculator and the route finder run in your browser. Your dates and answers are not sent to me or stored. The only thing recorded is an anonymous count, such as "calculator used, passport: Germany", with nothing that identifies you.
- Analytics: those anonymous counts and page visits are collected with Umami, a privacy-friendly tool that sets no cookies.
- Hosting: the site is hosted on Vercel, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and keep them secure.
- No advertising trackers, and no cookies from me.
When you contact me or become a client
If you message me on WhatsApp or email hello@getficar.com, I receive what you send: your name, phone number or email, your messages, and any documents you choose to share (for example your passport, criminal record certificates, bank statements or birth certificate).
I use this only to answer you and to prepare and follow up your application. The legal bases are carrying out the service you asked for (LGPD art. 7, V) and, for documents, your consent and the need to exercise rights in administrative processes (art. 7, I and VI; art. 11).
Who sees your data
- Me. Ficar is a one-person service.
- A registered sworn translator, only for the documents you ask me to have translated.
- Brazilian authorities (Federal Police, Receita Federal, consulates), only what's needed when your application or registration is filed.
- Service providers that carry the messages, files and payments: WhatsApp (Meta), Zoho Mail for email, Vercel for the website, and the payment provider that processes your payment.
I never sell your data or use it for advertising.
Data stored outside Brazil
Some of these providers, including Zoho, Meta (WhatsApp), Vercel and the payment provider, store data on servers outside Brazil. These international transfers are needed to provide the service you asked for and are made under LGPD art. 33.
How long I keep it
Your documents are deleted within 30 days after your case closes, from WhatsApp, email, my devices and backups. I keep a basic record (your name, contact details, what service you bought and payment records) for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Your rights
Under the LGPD (art. 18) you can ask me to confirm what data I hold about you, give you a copy, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email hello@getficar.com and I'll reply within 15 days. You can also complain to Brazil's data protection authority, the ANPD.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update the date at the top of this page.
